DIGITAL INCLUSION – THE TECH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

From December 2025 to February 2026, JOF launched the Tech Awareness Campaign under the theme “Inspiring a Generation to Embrace Technology and Shape the Future.” The initiative reached five secondary schools across Yaoundé and Bamenda. Close to 400 students participated in presentations and hands‑on workshops. Sessions introduced foundational technology concepts and digital opportunities. Youth were guided on responsible and purposeful tech usage. Interactive workshops enhanced engagement and practical learning. Leadership discussions, including the Five Levels of Leadership, reinforced values. The campaign expanded access to digital and leadership education. Students gained confidence, adaptability, and critical thinking skills. Technology awareness gaps were bridged for those with limited exposure. Pathways for mentorship and continuous development were created. JOF remains committed to scaling these programs and empowering innovative leaders.

THE MAXWELL LEADERSHIP GROWTH YOUTH INITIATIVE

In October 2025, the Julie Outreach Foundation (JOF), in partnership with the Maxwell Leadership Foundation Youth Initiative (MLGYI), launched a transformative leadership program. The initiative reached three secondary schools and two orphanages, engaging over 200 young participants. Sessions focused on leadership, resilience, and personal growth, even amidst school examination schedules. Using John Maxwell’s Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn, youth learned to turn setbacks into growth opportunities. Interactive activities built trust, confidence, and critical thinking. Mentorship pathways and affirmations strengthened self-leadership skills. Programs in orphanages were tailored to younger, at‑risk children. Caregivers received transferable knowledge to extend the impact. High‑potential individuals were identified for continued mentorship. Certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees. The program expanded access to leadership education in underserved communities. JOF remains committed to scaling this initiative and raising purpose‑driven leaders.
